David Yurman's latest

David Yurman’s collection of Men’s jewelry is expanding by the minute. There is so many to pick from and now he has introduced 18k gold into the line. We love the gold bracelet above ($14,250, davidyurman.com) but if that is to much for you, get the silver one. Check out some of his stuff in the following page.

Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2009

Nothing but suits, blazer and dress-wear on the runway was what Tommy showed for Spring 2009. Seems like he took a much upscale approach following in the steps of italian designers. There were no bright colors except for the white modern suits. He was up to date as he showed man bags too, which you know we are a big fan of. Check out the collection on the following page.

Darks, Lights and Brights Preview

Check out 3 different designers for Spring 2009: Simon Spurr’s, latest creations are dark, have high quality Italian construction, horn buttons, functional cuffs on the suit jacket and more. Patrik Ervell’s latest collection nodded to the lightness of spring, but retained a dose of the moodiness you’d expect from the designer. The collection featured protective hoods, high collars, and layering. Michael Bastian revealed a tightly edited collection of 25 looks based around Bastian’s latest American archetype. His sporty/casual collection had all the brights but somewhat of a preppy look too.

Richard Chai Fall 2008 Collection

Eddy Chai’s brother Richard Chai has a new collection for Fall 2008. Everything looks someone preppy with a modern twist to it. Lots of layering, narrow pants and/or relaxed dress pants draw attention to this line. I’m sure Richard’s brother will carry the line at his East Village menswear boutique Odin but you can also pick it up at Barneys New York.

SOPH.NET marks its 10th anniversary in 2008 as the Japanese menswear label has branched out further to also encompass lines such as the co-branded football inspired brand FCRB with Nike and the re-interpretive suit brand uniform experiment. As part of the 10th anniversary commemoration, SOPH.NET has ten products lined up which we can only image will include some heavy hitters. First up in the 1/10 release is two watches with fellow Japanese brand Wired H. The watches are available in either diamond or Swarovski crystal trim and feature a fine balance of sporty looks and refinement. In addition, check out the newly launched SOPH10th.net for a breakdown of SOPH.NET’s history and a look at collaborative products as they become available.
