Coming Soon is a new brand by the legendary Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto. The line sports a more youthful look when compared to Yohji Yamamoto’s main line. However, the aesthetics of Yohji Yamamoto’s designs are still seen in this new line. Here’s a look at a blazer just released. The Wool Blazer comes in Black and it’s 88% virgin wool/9% cotton/5% flax outer, 47% polyester/28% viscose/25% cotton partially lined body, 100% polyester lined sleeves; two button, single vented, piping along lapel and sleeves, hidden button holes at sleeves. Fit is slightly large but falls nicely on the body for an oversized Yohji-esque fit — wear your normal size or experiment with bigger sizes to create your own perfect relaxed feel! Sizes available are: 46, 48, 50, 52, 54 and priced at $675 and is now available at Blackbird in Seattle.

We saw some chunky sweaters last year but it seems like it is becoming more popular this season, judging from the large amounts of it available at any respectable online outlet. This McQ knit, from Alexander McQueen’s diffusion line, is big enough to wear as a jacket during fall/autumn and would keep you pretty warm underneath a coat during the winter. Get it at Asos.com

Andre Benjamin Launches BENJAMIN BIXBY

So many hip hop artists have come up with clothing lines and we are someone tired of them since it is always the same thing. However, there is one person who did get it right and that is Andre 3000 from Outkast. He has officially launched at it’s first location, Harrod’s in London. In terms of style and inspiration, think 30’s vintage athletic clothing and classic American style. Good job Andre.

Lean Machine: Ferrari V4 superbike concept

Don’t we all wish we were designing for Farrari. Well, the proposed Ferrari superbike you see above was conceived by Israeli designer Amir Glinik, who centered his concept around the idea of chopping the heralded V12 Ferrari Enzo down to four cylinders. The futuristic frame is made out of aluminum to keep weight down with traditional tubing in the front to support the battery and the oil tank. The rider can manage the engine with a system based on the Ferrari engine management computer with a modified all weather touch screen for easy use. The bike is controlled by hand controls influenced by the throttle controls of F16 fighter jets. Who knows if this will ever come out but we think if you want anything close to this that is affordable the look at some Ducati bikes. See more photos of Glinik’s concept below.
