The Fall/Winter 2017 wings+horns x Polartec collaboration collection features Polartec fabrics and insulation in a versatile range of outerwear and sweaters. Made in Canada from a selection of Polartec’s highest grade materials, these warm yet lightweight staples offer an uncompromising balance of style and function.
Polartec Thermal Pro is a highly breathable fleece engineered to provide warmth without weight. Appearing in two styles, a heathered crewneck and half-zip trail shirt, this rugged fabric offers advanced protection from wind and water, drys fast and resists abrasion.
Originally developed for the U.S. Special Forces, Polartec Alpha is the pinnacle of active insulation. Polartec Alpha can be found in a quilted bomber and vest built from water-resistant stretch nylon, as well as a standout waterproof/breathable merino wool Storm Parka.
The cornerstone of Polartec’s line for more than 30 years, Classic shearling fleece is utilized in a drop-shoulder crewneck, shawl collar cardigan and slim-fit pant. The lofted fiber structure of Polartec’s 300 series fleece prevents heat loss and regulates core warmth, while remaining dry and comfortable in all conditions.
