VK Nagrani Debuts FW17 Collection Mens NYFW
Menswear designer VK Nagrani debuted the Fall/Winter 2017 Collection during Men’s New York Fashion Week with an interactive presentation at his one-of-a kind-experiential concept space in Manhattan’s Nolita.
Inspired by the notion of the past and the essence of masculinity, VK presented a collection that offers functional and stylish pieces that stand the test of time. With the belief that a man’s wardrobe should enhance his way of life rather than complicate it, the designer showed 12 complete looks, each representing their own version of Bruce Wayne.
Editors enjoyed mini fried chicken and waffles and craft cocktails while listening to beats spun by DJ Tigga Calore. Every piece in the collection exhibited VK’s trademark attention to detail – whether in a knit blazer with a subtle pattern, or a baby alpaca collar adding softness to a tough leather jacket. The collection featured striking, interchangeable tuxedos, signature Branson double-breasted suits and structured jackets in navy, hunter green and gray as well as rich fabrics including leather and tweed.
We saw Style influencers Ian Michael Crumm and Gregory Dellicarpini of Oyster Colored Velvet, DJ Tigga Calore and more.
