Today was the perfect weather to bust out my new Victorinox Lenzburg Mackintosh jacket. For those of you who are not familiar with Victorinox, they are the original creators of the Swiss Army Knife. They have been designing function and durability apparel for years. The Lenzburg rain jacket, which is part of the Victorinox Fall/Winter 2015 collection and of their Modular Liner System features bonded cotton, interior pocket system, detachable 3-panel hood and sealed seams making it impermeable to water.

The Modular Liner System is an engineered snap-in layering solution offering unique versatility and maximum insulation that won’t compromise comfort of style. The key components of the Modular Liner System are the Matterhorn Vest and Montreux Liner, which can be easily integrated as liners into various FW15 outerwear styles including Lenzburg and Highlander V jackets for added warmth and protection against the elements.

The Lenzburg Mackintosh jacket I’m wearing today is available in black and olive but I like the olive one better since it’s such a popular color right now. If you are looking for luxury rain gear then this is it. Not only does it protect you from water showers but it just feels great on and looks amazing over any outfit. This couldn’t come at a perfect time especially with today’s weather and weather we are expecting in the next few days. Pick up this jacket for $550 at victorinox.com or swissarmy.com.
