The Victorinox I.N.O.X. Steel forged to endure the elements is resistant to water, temperature, shocks and pressure. Designed with complimenting masculine curves and angles, this stalwart beauty is impressive with it’s technical engineering and elegant posture.

The INOX is solid with it’s thick 43mm stainless steel case body and bracelet. It carries a fair amount of weight with it at 6.98 oz; yet it’s easily one of the most comfortable all metal timepieces I’ve ever worn. It’s very comfortable and allows for wrist range of motion without the crown poking me. I am able to forget it’s even on.  The jewelry style bracelet clasp took a total of 2 years R & D to exhibit the same qualities as the case and adorns a beautiful Victorinox emblem at it’s center.

It is comfortable enough that I can forget I’m wearing it yet for a timepiece that is marketed as tough, the metal is quite soft and will take bumps, bruises and scratches quite liberally. The INOX Steel and other variants come with a plastic/rubber/resin bumper that can attach itself to the dial-face. The bumper is a bit more functional or utilitarian and in my opinion doesn’t offer much is the way of aesthetics, I prefer not to use it. Victorinox apparently understands that the case can take scratches and dings quite easily even if it CAN withstand being rolled over by a 64 ton tank.

The I.N.O.X Steel features a Swiss Ronda HQ715G Quartz Movement Anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a unifying Stainless Steel bracelet and EOL indicator to complete this all Stainless body timepiece. It is made to last with a toughness that can withstand a multitude of conditions. The term I.N.O.X. taken from the French word inoxydable is by definition a steel alloy that contains a minimum of 10.5% chromium also known as Stainless steel. The acronym stands for Impact Neutralizing Object for the X-tremes.

The INOX is tough and rugged mechanically. It can withstand lots of extreme conditions; water resistant to 20ATM, temperature to 160 degrees F, shock resistant up to 10 meters and pressure resistant up to 8 tons. The watch looks amazing but it does however take bumps and bruises quite easily which is confusing. It’s the one of the toughest watches around but yet one of the most delicate as well. The I.N.O.X Steel is a beautifully designed timepiece that works great as an upscale everyday men’s watch.
