8. Ruggable
This next item made our Outdoor Gear needed in 2018 because the name says it all, Ruggable Rugs. These rugs are rugged, durable, machine washable, nontoxic and sustainable. You can decorate your living room, kids room or pick something cool just in time for Halloween with so many options from their site.
We tested the rug outside on the deck and it looks amazing. The fact that the rugs are waterproof makes them great for outdoors too. Simply pop it in the washer when it gets rained on or gets dirty from guest shoes.
Ruggable’s rug pad fiber consists of polyester (95%) made from recycled fiber. The nonslip portion of the rug pad consists of thermoplastic resin (TPR). TPR creates little to no waste during manufacturing as defective product can be melted back to raw material and reused. This makes the rug sustainable.

10. Samuel Hubbard Snow Lodge
Ok, we may be a bit early on these but these Snow Lodge boots are a must have for the outdoors this winter. Finally a boot with a generous fit that is not only comfortable as hell but also warm and durable for the snowy winter.
The Snow Lodge upper is made of premium full grain leather and has GORE-TEX waterproof and breathable membrane that keeps your feet dry, regardless of the conditions. Our favorite is the full glove-leather lining that delivers a buttery soft feel and eliminates pressure points. Big Plus is the fine shearling lining, which keeps your feet toasty warm and happy.
