Loose pants, long button-down shirts were styles we saw in Paris last Spring and now we see some of the similar pieces in the Tim Coppens Spring 2012 collection. I couldn’t tell if these men were skaters dressed up or if they were street fighters with fancy kung-fu outfits. Either way the Belgian-born designer Tim Coppens had some standout pieces like a blouson jacket fashioned from panels of knit, leather and nylon, and a varsity version made from an old Persian rug — meant to invoke the North African makeup of those suburbs.
