The Avengers is coming May 4th. I rarely even go to the movies anymore with the guys, unless it is to take a girl out. Either way, at least in my estimation, 90% of the time I go out to see a film, it is disappointing. There seems to be a lack of good story-lines available in Hollywood this generation, so the industry is pulling from comic book plots and fantasy adventures lately and there is no signs of slowing down.
The good thing is, most of the comic book and fantasy movies like X-Men, Iron Man, Avatar, The Immortals and upcoming movies for guys in 2012 like Batman the Dark Knight Rises, the Hobbit; An Unexpected Journey have been very entertaining and well-made. The Avengers, included in Pinstripe Magazine’s Top Movies for Guys in 2012, is coming and getting excellent reviews! The Avengers is a great flick for you and your buddies to check out in IMAX. The Avengers from Marvel Studios has been getting some rave reviews that compliment the build up and buzz in previous Superhero films of the past couple years, as Nick Fury is seen recruiting the roster of Superheros to battle their equal and opposite forces of evil in the soon to be released Avengers movie by Marvel. The Stable of Superheros include, Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Thor and Loki.
Set to open in theaters May 4th 2012, Marvel’s latest comic book saga, The Avengers has been getting rave reviews and we are psyched to see the upcoming ‘Secret Wars’ style rumble go down.
Personally I can’t wait to see an actual Secret Wars movie, hopefully it will be serious, the way the original mini-series comic storyline went and perhaps similar to the Batman novels.
