A little boy's dream comes true. Imagine having a car that you can take from the road to the water, well dream no more because this concept is really now here. UK based Gibbs Technologies Ltd introduced the amphibious car, which looks like an Italian roadster and reaches speeds in excess of 100 mph. The car will be available to the public in 2009 or 2010 but I think UK has it available already for special order.

Just as an fyi, both the Aquada and another Gibbs’ high-speed amphibian — the Quadski — will first go on sale in the United States.
Plans for public introductions elsewhere have yet to be announced.
