Sony recently released their newest cybershot offering. It is called the DSC-TX55. The camera looks very stylish with its slim exterior and promises to capture superior quality pictures. It also captures high quality 3D images and High Definition videos. The camera has a 10X zoom with a 16.2 megapixel resolution. It also exhibits By Pixel Super Resolution. Apart from these features, the camera also stands first in showing off its picture effect mode.
Yosuke Tomoda, the director of Sony Electronics said that the DSC-TX55 redefines what a compact camera can do. He said that apart from the ultra thin chassis that the device sports, the camera features an unbelievable combination of performance and features which enables the photographer to easily bring creativity to practical use than ever before.
A lot of digital cameras tend to diminish in quality when you zoom in, but not with this one. The boosted magnification is possible with the New Clear Image Zoom. The camera can capture high quality photos in poorly lit conditions; this is because of the Exmor R CMOS sensor along with ultra low picture noise.
The camera has seven display picture options and has been fitted with a 3.3 inch extra fine OLED wide touchscreen. It also has slots for SDHC/ MicroSD flash memory cards as well as it leaves slots for a Memory Stick Micro (Mark2).
The Sony Cybershot TX55 is priced at around $350 and will be available everywhere from September. Apart from getting it at Sony stores, it will also be available at sonystyle.com.
