The Galaxy S3‘s camera impressed us with it’s performance, it really took beautiful pictures. Their progression led them to the Galaxy Camera and the Galaxy S4 Zoom Android based compacts. Now Samsung is back again and introduces the Galaxy NX, a mirrorless Android OS based camera with 3G/4G LTE connectivity with an interchangeable lens.

The Galaxy NX features a 1.6Ghz Quad-core Pega-Q processor, a 20.3 MP APS-C CMOS image sensor and Hybrid Autofocus, a 4.8-inch HD LCD touchscreen and 800×600 SVGA Electronic Viewfinder (EVF), on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.

The mirrorless Android first from Samsung boasts a 1/6000 sec shutter speed and is able to snap up to an impressive 8.6fps continuous shooting and ISO range from 100 to 25,600. Additionally when coupled with the separately purchased 45mm 2D/3D lens enables the ability to shoot both video and stills in 3D!

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G/4G LTE and HSPA network connectivity gives you seamless set it and forget it sharing ability. Powering the Galaxy NX is a 4,360mAh battery which you will certainly need when utilizing LTE connectivity. The 16GB of onboard storage can be expanded with the micro SD port and it’s a bit smaller than a traditional DSLR but larger than a Interchangeable Lens Camera.
