On Wednesday, Samsung held a launch event to announce that the Galaxy Note 10.1 has been unleashed in the U.S. Baz Luhrmann director of the upcoming remake of The Great Gatsby and fashion designer Zac Posen helped to personalize the experience by providing a window into their thoughts and processes utilizing the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet amongst their team during their actual projects.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 spins off of the Galaxy SIII smartphone and shares some of it’s features such as Pop Up Play which allows you a picture in picture video window you can move over your screen while doing other things.  AllShare Play gives you the ability to share content easily with your friends, family and collegues. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 provides “the new way” bringing focus to the 4 key elements: Productivity, Creativity, Learning and Performance.

The Samsung Galaxy Note brings added functionality to enhance and streamline your workflow from a tablet like you have never experienced before.  True multitasking where you can run two apps side by side on the same screen at the same time. The S Pen giving you 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity and S Note gives you a way to easily add notes to your digital content.

The Samsung Galaxy Note is available today nationwide. A WXGA 1280×800 pixel 10.1 inch screen for your viewing pleasure and accompanying it is a quad-core 1.4ghz processor with 2gb of ram and 16gb of on-board memory or hard drive space.

We enjoyed playing with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and Samsung has really strived to redefine the tablet and it’s purpose.

Available in any color you want as long as it’s white or dark gray, and in 16 GB or 32 GB memory configurations, for $499 or $549 SRP, respectively.
