Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS, 20th Model of the 911 in the Market

Porsche has once again released another version of the 911. This time, the 911 Porsche Carrera 4 GTS, to be specific. Frankly, we’re growing quite weary of keeping up with the various 911 Porsche models that are coming out in the market with this (we think) being the 20th model of the 911 in the market.

We’re not so sure if you’ve noticed, but most of the Porsche cars are replicas of each other except with a few minor cosmetic and power train exceptions. The Porsche Carrera is no different from the other cars that Porsche has to offer, but here are its specifications anyways.

The 911 Carrera 4 GTS is a rear wheel drive and also has a new traction control system. It is a flat six engine that has 408 horsepower with a capacity of 3.8 liters. The engine, once again, is a six speed manually transmitted one. The car is once again standardized as the other Porsche cars in the sense that it can travel from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds and so did the other models of the 911 (well, more or less).

As far as the car’s face value is concerned,  the Carrera GTS gets a slight revision in terms of  side skirts, lip spoiler, and 19 incher black RS Spyder wheels as well. The interior is quite sleek with the use of Alcantara on the sport bucket seats.

The 911 Carrera 4 GTS is available in both convertible and hard-top versions. The base price of the car starts at $110,200. However there is nothing new as we feel that Porsche is just trying to sell the same car in the form of different models to confuse their customers.
