For those of us that appreciate artistic talent, sometimes the medium gets a bit daunting and for the most part-boring. Just at that moment when you’re tired of seeing ancient Grecian sculptures, Nathan Sawaya’s installations awaken your senses. Sawaya first received national attention in 2004 when he won Lego’s search for the “Master Model Builder”. His larger than life, three dimensional models are made out of Legos. One can not only appreciate the utter awesomeness of Sawaya’s work, but also feel nostalgic. His first major exhibition was entitled “The Art of the Brick” and his collections can be found in museums across the nation.
