Mercedes Benz Invisibility Cloak!
As a promo for the first production model F-Cell car, Mercedes-Benz unveiled in Stuttgart Germany, or rather hid the production model B-Class hatchback with an invisibility cloak! This all to help promote the F-Cell hydrogen fuel cell powered car, a completely green, zero emissions footprint vehicle. Check out the picture above, amazing! Mercedes-Benz Invisibility Cloak!
There was some $263,000 worth of flexible LED mats covering the side of the car displaying imagery from a camera mounted on the opposite side of the vehicle, at the correct scales, to make it blend into its surroundings. The invisibility cloak required dozens of technicians along with power sources, computer equipment and wires and you name it… 1,100 lbs of equipment doesn’t leave much room for passengers or even a driver.
