The iStomp pedal modulator device lets call it, allows you to reduce your pedal to just one, hook up to you iOS device, iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, iPad2 and via free downloadable software coupled with the iStomp hardware component, gain access to 20 different pedal effects from distortion to phaser. The software aspect opens up many possibilities to modifying your pedal effects for your guitar without having to purchase umpteen pedals.
The initial product offers approx 24 different pedal effects and the ability to download more via in app purchase. The DigiTech iStomp will begin shipping in January 2012 at $229.95 suggested retail. The iStomp pedal comes with an iOS authorization cable, power supply and the two initial downloads. Additional downloads are available starting at $4.99 each.
