The tone of Iron Man 3 is a darker and more serious one, along the lines of a graphic novel but not without the token comedic jokes sprinkled in. The first Marvel movie after the release of the highly successful and arguably the best of the comic book hero movies to date will be coming to theaters May 3rd in IMAX 3D and Real 3D.
The seed was planted last summer at Comic-Con 2012 giving devout fans a preview of the cinematic story to come. Robert Downey Jr. making a surprise appearance to do a little Q &A along with announcements for the next Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier this summer 2013.
Directed by Shane Black and starring: Robert Downey Jr., Ben Kingsley, Don Cheadle, Gwyneth Paltrow, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, William Sadler, James Badge Dale and a return appearance from director of Iron Man 1 and 2 Jon Favreau.
