Then the military named her favorite pin-up girl for the US Marines. I’m talking about Mayra Veronica.
I had a chance to sit down and talk to the sexy, voluptuous Mayra Veronica and get an insight on her and what she has been up to. PM: Our readers want to know where do you currently live?
MV: Recently bought a house in LA by Hollywood. I’ve been residing here for two years.
PM: Where were you before?
MV: Lived in Miami since I was 4 years old.
PM: So where were you born?
MV: Cuba.
PM: What have you been up to?
MV: I’ve been working on my New Single “If you can Read my Mind” and on the choreograph for music video.
PM: How long have you been singing?
MV: I have been singing Spanish music for a while and when I got signed to the record label it opened new doors for me to start singing in English.
PM: So what would you say is next for you?
MV: Working on releasing my book illustrating me as a spokesperson for (USO) United Service Organization.
PM: Do you enjoy acting in Spanish roles or English ones?
MV: Well since I don’t really speak Spanish so much I prefer doing English roles, however I am more interested working in music where I can express myself.
PM: Who are some of your role models?
MV: Madonna and Marilyn Monroe for being two unique individuals.
PM: What would you say are your best features?
MV: I would have to say my smile, butt and waist.
PM: Yes I will have to agree with the butt part I am sure you get a lot of attention from your J Lo booty… What started all that attention?
MV: I use to work for Don Francisco Presenta as a hostess and while I was walking the camera man drew close attention to my butt and since then it started all the media attention on my butt or as you called it my J Lo booty.
PM: Ok so I read some stuff about you hiding your age. What is your actual age?
MV: Not sure where all that confusion came up. I was born in 1980 and yes I am 30 so in the media people say I’m between 27-37 but I am 30. I’m actually sending my driver’s license to my PR firm so they can confirm it. (smiles)
PM: What is your best trait?
MV: I am a strong person and very persistence.
PM: Your worst habit?
MV: Drinking Pumpkin Lattes from Starbucks
PM: Hey I like those too…
PM: So on a more personal note… Are you single?
MV: No I am dating someone.
PM: When looking for a man what do you look for?
MV: I like a classy old school chivalrous gentleman, someone who still opens doors.
PM: What normally impresses you?
MV: Men not into themselves or ego driven.
PM: What turns you off in a man?
MV: Someone who is egotistic.
PM: Do you have any pets?
MV: Yes 6 dogs and a cat.
PM: OMG, how do you have time to do anything w/ all these dogs?
MV: I have a nanny that takes cares of them.
PM: So does she walk them too?
MV: Yes
PM: Would you ever consider playboy?
MV: They’ve asked but no need to right now.
PM: How about posing for us?
MV: Of course!
