Well our friend Stacey Grenrock Woods over at Esquire tells us No more than what they've already read in your diary. (Don't be embarrassed — lots of men enjoy that sort of thing from just the kind of device you describe.)
My limited yet first-rate field research shows that today's decent, law-abiding, Activia-fed women don't talk very much about doing it. It is just not as common as premium cable programming has led you to believe. I talked to my friends, when I had them, about all sorts of interesting subjects, not just dicks.
And while women may relay an exotic detail or two about our casual encounters (past, present, or future), we don't mess around when it comes to something serious. "With guys that women really like, they often are a little more careful about what they tell their friends," says Debby Herbenick of the Kinsey Institute. "After all, if they really like a guy, they want to protect his pride, too, and they also want their friends to like him." So you see? There's nothing to worry about: For the most part, women suffer your inadequacies in silence.
