Hennessey has just released its version of the CTS-V Coupe and we’ve seen that the car packs more than we expected. The twin-turbo CTS-V Coupe model has an engine that delivers no less than 1,000 horsepower. Here are more specifications about the car.
That engine delivers a brake horsepower of 1,000 @6,000 rpm. It also has a torque of around 950 lb ft. The car can go from 0 to 60 in around 3.5 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 230 miles per hour. The v1000 twin turbo engine includes a variety of features such as forged steel connection rods and low compression pistons, Callies 4340 forged steel crank, ARP head bolts and main studs, blueprinted and balanced rotation assembly, as well as upgraded fuel injectors.
Other features that the company offers alongside the car are dyno tuning and road testing, 1 year/ 12,000 mile limited warranty, as well as serial numbered engine and dash plaques.
The car is both a manual and automatic six speed transmission drive. The manual transmission is a centerforce dual friction clutch upgrade, while the automatic transmission is a performance build and torque converter upgrade.
The wheels of the car are original Hennessey monoblock wheels. The front wheels measure up to 20×10 inches while the back wheels measure in at 20×13 inches approximately. The tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires.
