A Brief Guide on How to Wear a Scarf this Coming Fall

Another problem that I see that a lot of guys have is knowing how to decently wear a scarf. I’ve seen a lot of men who think its very fashionable to sadly drape a scarf around their neck and be content with the look that they think they’re trying to pull off. But since the advent of men taking care of their looks, thanks to the metrosexual man, I have seen a select few who have mastered the art of wearing a scarf. I’m not much of a pro myself at wearing one or trying to figure out what it goes with, but I’ve always been a pessimistic bitch. So I have a gifted eye with trying to figure out what’s wrong with the other person’s fashion. But in the current generation, I’ve noticed that there is a massive revolution that’s taking place and men are happy with keeping themselves “pretty”. But back to the scarves, there are a lot of innovative techniques at wearing scarves, from knotting, wrapping, twisting and looping. Us men have to face one universal fact, that we don’t have as many accessories to play with as much as women do. So why not figure out how to wear a scarf in different ways and give yourself that cute sophisticated look. Well here are a few tips on buying and wearing scarves

1)      Firstly, make sure that the scarf matches what you’re wearing.

2)      I’ve recently taken to colorful scarves but I was always too afraid to start with colorful scarves, so a good shade of grey in cashmere is something that looks good, it’s safe to work with, it goes with practically everything. In other words, you can never go wrong with it.

3)      Long is always good. Too short and it may just wrap around your neck only or it may not wrap around at all.

4)      As far as washing instructions go, cashmere scarves are NEVER to be machine washed. Dry cleaning is the only option for them. They just fall flat once they’re machine washed and don’t wrap around well once they’ve been stretched out.
