Flirting with other people is something I love to do, especially when I meet that interesting person who manages to stick their fingers into my head. Flirting can also lead to a long and successful relationship, provided you use the correct tools at achieving that. The key to successful flirting is to understand subtle signs and knowing where to draw the line. Getting dirty can please a few, but if you’re looking for more than just a one night stand this time, then try not to be so persuasive. Well here are a couple of points that might help you.
The first step is to be confident about yourself. Talk about topics that you know you’re genuinely interested in and something that the other person shows interest in as well. Make yourself humble and approachable. A genuinely sweet smile always works best. It lets the other person know that you have an honest opinion about yourself. Don’t talk about anything complicated just to prove that you’re one intellectual buff. No one likes pride on the first date. Eye contact is good, but it can be hard. If you’re good at that then by all means maintain it. I personally like a person who shows more simplicity and humility in eye contact rather than trying a sexy look.
There’s absolutely no harm in being playful. It always helps to comment on the way they look in the clothes that they are wearing, don’t overdo it with the comments as it leads to fake and obvious flattery. Don’t be afraid to open up about yourself. Be a bit more open as everyone loves that.
If you’re like me and tend to get tongue tied on the first date, then try open ended questions like, his/her hometown, job, or just something interesting you notice. Be in the moment and listen to what the other person is doing for a successful flow of conversation
