Festival Fashion For Men

Festival season is well and truly here and that means it’s time to get your festival wardrobe ready. Festivals are the places to be during the summer and your clothing choices are as important as the acts on stage! Whilst you don’t want to pack too much (no-one wants to carry a huge backpack around all weekend), you also want to make sure you’re packing on-trend summer fashion essentials to have you looking your best, no matter if you’re wading through muddy fields or dancing and singing along to the support act. Here are some of the biggest festival fashion trends for men this summer.

White T-Shirt

Whilst you may not think this is the best choice due to the endless amounts of mud, a simple white t-shirt is a timeless classic, especially at a festival. A white t-shirt can be paired with anything and will even look great when splattered with mud. The key to choosing the right t-shirt is making sure that it fits well on the shoulders and is slim fitting – anything too baggy will look shapeless.

Sunglasses

Even though festivals aren’t well known for their sunny weather, a pair of on-trend mirrored sunglasses are a great addition to any festival outfit. Channelling the retro style that is huge this year, mirrored sunglasses are perfect for hiding tired and hungover eyes and keep your eyes protected in style during your weekend.

Parka Jacket

Another key item that is in trend this summer, the parka jacket is easy to pack, lightweight and waterproof. A festival essential, this will keep you warm and dry when it inevitably begins to rain and will look great layered with a white t-shirt and dark denim. To keep in line with the latest trends, choose one in a bright colour or a windbreaker style parka jacket.

Anything Colourful

Anything with bright colours is a big trend this summer, especially at festivals. With 80s and 90s trends and styles having a big resurgence this year, they are easy to add to your outfit. A subtle tie-dye t-shirt will look great, especially on a rainy day, or add in some festival glitter if you’re feeling well and truly in the festival spirit. A glitter beard or hair looks great on everyone!

Statement Hat

Perhaps one of the easiest ways to add a touch of style to your festival outfit, a statement hat should be at the top of your festival packing list. On day 3, when your hair is looking a little worse for wear, a hat is sure to hide it whilst also keeping your outfit on trend. Baseball hats are huge this year when it comes to the festival fashion trend, or choose the festival staple of a bucket hat.
