Making Home-Made Iced Tea is not an easy thing. Yes you can buy the powder mix and mix it with cold water but who wants to put all of those ingredients in your body? That is why we are happy to have received the Capresso Iced Tea Maker. If you live in the South then you know how important making sweet Iced Tea is especially in the summer.
We wasted no time making sweet Iced Tea when we opened the box. Making it at home is almost unheard of anymore. However, that has changed after getting the Capresso Iced Tea Maker.
Before enjoying natural home made iced tea maker I use to boil water, use the right amount of loose leaf tea and mix together. Then I would have to wait for it to cool down, put in the fridge or get a ton of ice to pour the hot tea in and mix it with some sugar. The process just felt too long. Now, all I need to do is fill my Capresso 80 oz. (2.5 qt.) glass pitcher with ice, the right amount of sugar, fruits when I want to then add loose leaf tea or tea bags to the reusable filter and brew the tea, which falls directly on the ice making it ready to drink once it is done. The process is fast and simple!
If you are in the mood for peach Ice tea or lemon iced tea then all you need to do is put some in before you brew and it is that easy. With the Capresso Iced Tea Maker you can even let it know how mild or strong you want your tea with the flavor enhancer.
Some may argue that the old fashion way of making home iced tea isn’t that hard or that this new way uses too much ice. Yes, I agree it does and not all of us have large bags of ice in the freezer or freezers that make ice so for that reason the Capresso pitcher has a cold water indicator so you can let the tea brew over cold water instead of ice. Of course it will not be as cold as when you brew it over ice but at least this way you get to make sweet iced tea and either store it in the fridge until it gets cold or pour it into a cup of ice to enjoy one glass of iced tea.
