The innovative styles by Christopher Bailey for Burberry Prorsumm was definitely present at the Burberry Prorsum SS 2011 Collection. In this elaborate effort to create a classic look that doesn't die to easily or quickly; leather was the choice for the ever present hard-core fashion lover."I wanted the collection to be timeless and tough," Bailey said backstage after the show.
Some individuals are scared of rocking a leather piece, but Burberry makes this challenge a work of art. When we think of leather, it's usually in the black/brown tones, and instead was taken a step further in their pick for navy. It's hip, cool and timeless. These pieces were combined with a military-esque feel; fitted collar shirts and jeans, laid back T's and relaxing sandals, including their signature Trench coat, which looks great with any outfit. The clothes created a tranquil vibe and atmosphere for this inspiring collection.
