Brazilian photographer Bruno Cals captures buildings in São Paulo, Tokyo and Buenos Aires from a perspective that throws the viewer’s conception of the visual world out of sync. These architectural studies, a series called Horizons, capture a sense of the infinite freedom you lean your head back and look up, up, up. Horizons will be shown at 1500 Gallery in New York through July 31, 2010, a new gallery with a focus on Brazilian photography. Check out a sneak peek on the next page.
