In collaboration with Project, W Magazine, and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, BOAST held its very first fashion show in celebration of the their 40th anniversary featuring their Spring/Summer 2013 Collection. BOAST’s poolside runway show was the talk of Project as editors and the like flocked to check out the brand’s newest collection and celebrate their major milestone.
The event denoted a turning point for BOAST – although it started out as an athletic brand in the 70’s, outfitting tennis pros across the northeast, this collection marks the re-launch of BOAST. No doubt that the all-star team had much to do with making this show a success – creative direction was carried out by Andy Spade, and styling was done by Minnie Mortimer (who also showcased her second women’s capsule collection with the brand and walked in the show).
The true feat, however, was the aesthetic maintained: the Spring/Summer 2013 collection stays true to BOAST’s tennis-inspired heritage while still producing on-trend styles. Neon polos, tailored blazers, and more were complimented by BOAST’s irreverent Japanese maple leaf logo, offering pieces fit for everyone from the college prepsters to the fashion elite.
