Download the free app from Lemur on either iOS or Android devices and enable your bluetooth connection. The app will connect the dongle to your smartphone via bluetooth and you can begin your scan to read codes, reset codes and gain valuable insight into your OBDII compliant vehicle.
OBDII or On-Board Diagnostics II is standard for any car sold in the United States as of 1996. You may be familiar with the large scan tool usually the size of a laptop that your mechanic might use or maybe even the consumer handheld version if you are a do-it-yourself kind of guy. The BlueDrive OBDII tool also allows you to reset your check engine light, read error codes from your car as well as reset those error codes. It will allow you to investigate and troubleshoot potential sensor or other problems with your car.

You’re able to get real time graph and numbers and even take snapshots and analyze the information though this info should only be used as general numbers as there’s quite a bit of lag. For instance it wasn’t able to accurately display RPM or vehicle speed at all times and couldn’t keep up when comparing to both digital and analog RPM displays on our test car. You can view all the information live in line graph form, however the UI doesn’t have the various graphs labeled so you have to memorize them or click on each to find out what exactly it is displaying info about.
