We are so glad that Michael Elliot, founder of Hammer & Nails had a bad experience one day while getting a mani/pedi at a traditional salon, which are normally catered for women. Because of him feeling like a fish out of the water he created the best man cave environment for guys to not only get a pedicure, manicure but also a hair cut, razor shave, wax and more.

I had a chance to visit this manly shop in Naples, Florida and as soon as one walks in you are amazed by the decor. Jason, the General Manager greeted me and gave me a tour. I was very impressed with the lighting, chairs, hand and feet room and bar. Also, the one thing that stood out was all of the art commissioned by the owner, which are all paintings of luxury and race cars.
My favorite part of the salon was the hand and feet room, which looks like a sports bar with all the big screen TVs. Every guest has a personal TV, remote and noise-cancelling headphones for entertainment during his visit. I love that it felt private and you are only there with other men getting the same thing done that you are in the comfort of Hammer & Nails’ oversize leather chairs and man cave vibe.

A clarifying lemon and peppermint-infused Premium Manicure and Pedicure combination that includes a warm soak, callus resurfacing, sugar scrub, nail care, massage, warm paraffin, and a hot towel wrap. I confess, my feet were so dry and ashy and after I came out of there my feet are now so soft and smooth. What ever part was ashy and dry now looks like healthy skin. Sander’s goal is to open up a second location in Naples and is in charged with developing 17 additional locations along Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Sander, worked up and down the East Coast as an executive, chief financial officer and other impressive corporate titles but finally decided to make Hammer & Nails his business venture. Though Sander has called Naples his second home for several years, he is now a full-time Floridian and immersing himself in the community all year.
