Belstaff 90th Anniversary! Since 1924, Eli Belovitch and his son in law Harry Grosberg conceptualized Belstaff to become the first company in the world to use wax cotton in the manufacturing of breathable waterproof apparel. In the years following, the duo began offering a bespoke service for aviators, racecar drivers and Britain’s top sportswomen including Amelia Earhart, in addition to outfitting Britain’s soldiers during World War II. Today, the global, luxury brand continues to expand on their rich heritage with expanded luxury sportswear offerings in addition to RTW and accessories collections for both men and women.
This month, Belstaff is celebrating its 90th Anniversary and to celebrate this milestone Belstaff is introducing a limited edition “Union Jack” jacket. The signature Trailmaster jacket silhouette from the 1950’s has been updated in cotton sourced from an historic British Mill and features a faded Union flag print on the back of both the men’s and women’s styles – each jacket is individually hand-finished and will be available exclusively at Belstaff.com and flagship store locations globally.
