Extra buzz was injected into Antonio Azzuolo’s A.A. presentation when Anna Wintour stopped by to see the work of one of the latest CFDA Incubator winners. Azzuolo’s tailored looks lean toward a somewhat louche, Seventies YSL style, and this season he married his jackets and ties with pants that had both dropped and off-center crotches, for a business-on-top, harem-on-the-bottom effect. There were also women’s-wear-inspired tweed blazers that weren’t as totally feminine as they might sound, while ski anoraks added a sporty element to the nicely executed collection.
