Even though he chose to show his Spring 2012 line in Paris this year the New York-based designer, Alexandre Plokhov took cues from Carlo Scarpa’s industrial architecture and turned out a hard-edged collection for his second season. The influence came through in the boxy shoulders of jackets and heavy metal clips on leathers. Those tough, masculine looks worked better than tricky hybrid garments. See pictures below.
