A PolarWho Android based Tablet? You haven’t forgotten about Polaroid already have you ? Ok so maybe instant pictures have been a bit antiquated but Polaroid is back with their new Android Tablet and is looking to give everyone a run for their money with the M10 and M7 Android based tablets.
Polaroid announced at CES that they will be releasing two new tablets into the wild, the M10 and M7 running OS 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The M10 is equipped with a quad-core Cortex A7 processor, 1Gb of ram and 16hb of onboard storage space. The 10.1 inch screen displays resolution at 1,280×800. A 5mp rear firing and 2mp front firing camera, a 7,800mAh battery as well as a native HDMI out port accompany the M10’s features.
It’s smaller sibling, the M7 is equipped with a 1.6ghz dual-core A9 processor, 1gb of ram and 8gb of onboard storage. The 7 inch screen also displays at 1,280×800 resolution with 216PPi vs the iPad mini at 163PPi, but only includes a 2mp front firing camera for conferencing.
Both M series tablets offer expandable storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and IPS panels (In Plane Switching) for excellent color reproduction and great viewing angles.
You might be saying, what the big deal, well the price points are set to retail at $229 and $129 respectively. Now for that money, would you rather buy a single purpose reader or would you rather have a tablet?
