From the runways of Paris and Milan to the cover of Playboy and then to Celebrity Apprentice, exotic, stunning 2010 Playmate of the Year, Hope Dworaczyk (pronounced dor-ah-sik) sits down with us to give PinstripeMag an inside look at her current life and what is next for her. Hope’s modeling/runway career includes designers such as Balenciaga, Versace, Robert Rodriguez, Lana Fuchs, Miss Sixty, Leila Rose to name a few and she has been considered by fashion insiders as one of the most beautiful people in the world. This brunette bombshell, with her ever sexy erotic look, made history in 2010 as the first Playmate of the Year to ever appear as a 3D centerfold. Hope was also the co-host of the popular Inside Fashion for E! and Global TV in Canada covering international fashion shows and interviews with power players of fashion. PM: Wow, you are very beautiful. So what’s your nationality (background)?
HD: Like most people I’m a mix of many things. My dad’s side of the family is Polish and my Mom’s is a mix of everything!
PM: You were in Playboy in 2009 and in 2010 and I’m sure you are asked this all the time. Will you be in Playboy in 2011?
HD: No. Not that I wouldn’t do it again just now is not the right time. I’m busy working and creating and really making a name for myself as a host and producer. That is what is important to me now.
PM: I have to say that you are very lucky because you have a body where you can get photographed for Playboy and then be in high-end editorials/designer campaigns and runway like you have been. Do you see a difference between posing nude for a magazine like Playboy and a magazine like Vogue or say a designer campaign?
HD: There is nudity in Vogue. There is nudity in playboy. I’ve been on a runway in a sheer top with nothing underneath. To me, the human body and sexuality are beautiful. The difference between the three is the audience you are presented to. At the end of the day it’s all the same.
PM: Growing up were you a girly girl or a tomboy?
HD: I loved make-up, shopping, fixing my hair and picking out outfits. I was destined to end up working in the field I work in.
PM: What is some advice you can give our male readers to approach someone like you?
HD: Confidence is key. Walk up to me like you’ve known me for years. Be humble and sweet.
PM: Do you have a certain type of man that attracts you?
HD: I truly don’t have a type. I tend to go for men that treat me well and are nice to the people they love. I can tell a lot about a man by having dinner with him. I take notice if you treat the wait staff with respect. Status doesn’t get my attention. To me… Nice matters.
PM: So, you were on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice not so long ago. Tell us how you landed that role?
HD: I interviewed with the producers Eden Gaha and Chuck LaBella. They said Trump specifically asked for me to be on the show but they had to meet with me first to see if I had wits.
PM: In the show you used your fame, contacts and business acumen to win weekly tasks to raise money and awareness for Best Buddies. Tell us more about Best Buddies and is that something you will continue now that you are not on the show?
HD: Best Buddies was founded by Anthony Shriver and helps create opportunities for friendship, employment & leadership for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We have buddies who have jobs and live independently. That’s what social inclusion is about. My buddies name is Caroline and we hang like any girlfriends would hang. I was a part of Best Buddies before the show and I’ll be a part of them afterwards. It’s a great organization.
PM: Any plans on opening up your own business?
HD: I have one. It’s called Best of 3 Productions. I’m producing two new shows. One is animated and not ready for me to talk about just yet and the other is a feel good giving back type of show I am hosting called, “Hope & a Smile.”
PM: After viewing PinstripeMag.com what would you say your favorite category is?
HD: Style. A close second is Toys.
