Check out these men’s watches which will be present at BASELWORLD 2011, a watch and jewelry show that happens every Spring.
Introducing the Louis Moinet – Geograph. Louis Moinet, a specialist of fine watchmaking, has been inspired by the themes of travel and exploration in its latest creation. Following in the footsteps of such 18th century adventurers as James Cook, who discovered Australia and explored the Pacific, and the Montgolfier brothers, who pioneered human flight, the watch designer has embarked on a unique horological odyssey: to apply a very high level of technical expertise to the fascinating world of exploration. The Geograph automatic chronograph features a second 24-hour time zone indicating day and night for those never-ending adventures, Atlas pushpieces engraved with a globe, and a caseback engraved with a hot-air balloon and ships. A unique creation designed for modern explorers in a limited edition of 60 pieces.
The Patravi EvoTec Calendar, the latest addition to Carl F. Bucherer’s Patravi EvoTec collection, features a distinctive round case. It is equipped with the very latest technology: an exclusive in-house CFB A1004 movement, a specially-designed functional module displaying not only the date and day but also a hand week-indicator. Innovative features that extend beyond its exclusive movement to embellish the whole of its elegant case.
The Grafic Mistero from Doxa is not bound by the established conventions of classical watchmaking! With its two superposed dials pierced to partially reveal the chronograph counters, it marks a return to the Bauhaus movement, which married architecture and minimalism. The black dial of the radically-matt black case is contrasted with a few red and silvered highlights, giving this timepiece its sophisticated and resolutely masculine character.
The New Lady Colors collection expresses the will to reinforce the Steelcraft lady models’ sex appeal with more impetuous and cleaner lines. Always colorful, the look is “punchy chic” but with no affectation. The brightly made up black PVD cases experiment feminity’s voluptuous side. As a bonus, the designer’s very own touch : the “crocodile structure” rubber strap, worth a bite!
