If you’re in New York City and you want to enjoy the bar scene, sans the pretentious Manhattan atmosphere, you should make your way over to Studio Square in Long Island City, Queens. While only 2 subway stops away from the hustle and bustle of the city (59th Street/Lexington Ave.), Studio Square is a giant beer garden where everyone’s main objective is a simple one: to enjoy a nice beer. For the chillier months ahead there is also an indoor space. The décor is modern industrial and there are more than enough tables for the 900+ occupants that the space is designed for. The second floor can also be reserved for private gatherings. There are twenty or so beers on tap and the menu is a no nonsense compilation of meats such as bratwurst, pulled pork, and burgers. If you’re a beer lover to the core, Studio Square will indulge you.
Studio Square is located at 35-33 36th Street, Astoria, NY 11103
