Last week we got our eat on while attending THE VILLAGE VOICE EIGHTH ANNUAL “CHOICE EATS” TASTING EVENT. There were so many restaurants attending and so much to chose from. Not only was there food, but we drank hard and ate dessert as well.

Whew!!!
The event, which was held at the Metropolitan Pavilion was from 6pm to 10pm and I’m so glad I arrived there at a decent time because everyone was running out of food around 8pm. The good part was that there was complimentary craft beer pairings, wine and liquor beverages plus another floor dedicated just for dessert.
Now I can’t wait for The Village Voice’s next food event, which will actually be “Choice Streets”. This is a food truck event being held Tuesday, May 5th at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. If it rains the rain date will be Friday, May 8th. See you all there.
