Going to a concert, a basketball game, or taking a flight and want to keep unnecessary noise out? Introducing the DUBS, which are advanced tech earplugs that reduce volume without sacrificing the clarity of sound. These little earplugs protect your ears to keep you going louder, longer.
Last month I went to the ARMIN VAN BUUREN and Andrew Rayel concert at Pier 94 and decided to test out the Dubs Acoustic Filters. These little suckers did reduce the noise and I was able to actually enjoy the sound meant to be heard. They look stylish and protect your hearing too. However, I would only suggest using them when not interacting and just listening to whoever is performing or DJ’ing at a concert, commentating at a game or flying on the plane.
The only negative part is that while wearing the plugs I was screaming to friends just like when using regular headphones. Then, the actual sound you want to hear, even though clear is a bit muted so you kind of feel like you are missing out on the actual experience of a concert or game. Although, like I mentioned above I would recommend these Dubs if going to a gun range, flying or going to a concert to just hear the music. Pick up your pair for $25 at getdubs.com. All I have to say is that my Asian friends and ladies were sure representing that night.
