Poppin Bottles at Do AC Boardwalk Wine Promenade

See, Swirl, Smell, Sip, Repeat!

Do AC Wine

This past weekend young folks, old folks, media, friends, vendors, locals, visitors, tourist and Atlantic City Alliance were literally Poppin Bottles at the Do AC Boardwalk Wine Promenade. I was fortunate enough to be part of it all so thanks AC and everyone involved for being good to me.

If you thought AC was dying down due to four hotels closing this year, think again. Things are just getting better with more events, concerts, new restaurants and hotels reinventing themselves. I do have to say though, will miss Revel and glad I was able to check out the last party at HQ ‘s Pool Party with DJ Steve Aoki.

Pitbull

So this past Friday, after a relaxing spa treatment at Caesars and an amazing four course dinner, each course paired with a different wine at the Iron Room a bunch of us headed to the Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull concert. If you haven’t been to a concert in Atlantic City, I highly recommend it. I’ve also seen Shakira in concert in AC and the experience is better than seeing any artist live at a huge venue like MSG. The concerts in AC feel more intimate, are less expensive than NY concerts and you can actually see the artist where ever you sit.

Leslie-Sbrocco

Saturday, over 100 wines were served at the Do AC Boardwalk Wine Promenade, which brought together resorts to celebrate the history, pageantry and energy of Atlantic City on the famed Boardwalk. This past weekend couldn’t been better. We had great weather, live music, breathtaking ocean views and award-winning wine expert, author and TV media personality Leslie Sbrocco handpicked out some stellar wines for the VIP’s to taste. We even learned how to pop open a champagne bottle with a knife.

Sipping champagne and hanging out in Moet & Chandon’s exclusive Bubble Lounge was the perfect way to relax before dinner at Fin and a night of dancing at Boogie Nights, both located inside the Tropicana Hotel.

To top off the weekend, yours truly was lucky at the Roulette table so I couldn’t have asked for anything else. Next trip to AC – Usher performing in November. See you there.
