Honeywell has been the household name for traditional thermostats sincce 1953 and following the WiFi Smart Thermostat with Voice Control, Honeywell is back for the attack with their truly intelligent Thermostat named the Lyric. The Honeywell Lyric Thermostat resembles the contemporary design of the Nest Learning Thermostat. It’s round, smooth body is able to rotate like a traditional thermostat. Features like the proximity sensor wake the unit up when you’re closeby, current and forecast weather conditions display on the dial, GPS enabled with the ability to self-adjust according to your geographical location or even the humidity level in your home. The Lyric can also alert you when your furnace filter needs changing and help you find an authorized Honeywell service shop. You can use the iOS or Android App via your smartphone or tablet to set the Lyric up in your home, step by step.
The Honeywell Lyric is also a connected Thermostat, which means you can control it from anywhere over a WiFi. Energy efficient and smart the Lyric is compatible with low voltage systems rated for 24 volts. As with the newer innovations in Thermostats, this will also not work with line voltage systems of 110 volts or higher (typically associated with baseboard systems).
The Honeywell Lyric Thermostat available for $279 in August or today from a licensed Honeywell dealer
