One of the best new brands to emerge from the heritage trend is the aptly named Heritage Research. They have really impressed us with their classically themed pieces. Their latest take for the Spring/Summer 2010 is a collaboration with the ubiquitous Quoddy footwear brand to create this unique take on their popular Grizzly boot.
The low profile moccasin boot has been recreated in a two tone leather effect, with a Russet Bison lower and Peanut leather upper part with a Chocolate deerskin bellows tongue, and featuring the brand’s “Lazy Arrow” logo stitch on the toe. The most interesting feature though is a unique slim version of the Vibram, which has been specially developed to mimic the traditional moccasin sole.
