Netgear NeoTV PRIME with Google TV unveiled at CES
CES this year has brought with it Netgear’s NeoTV PRIME with Google TV or the GTV100. The NeoTV PRIME device allows you to search for anything that is live on TV, web, through apps or streaming services conveniently in one device.
Neo TV PRIME with Google TV also extends your playback by connecting to your external USB hard drives and local media servers. Similar to Samsung’s AllShare Play, the Neo TV PRIME allows you to play, manage and share your videos, music and photos from any digital storage or Android smartphone or tablet device to your TV.
A Google Chrome web browser is bundled to allow web surfing, yes with flash capability, directly on the TV and even offers PIP (Picture in Picture) so you ca surf the web and watch live TV at the same time. A two-sided remote control, one with a QWERTY keyboard and the other with a touchpad and d-pad.
