A psychedelic 3D experience with Primus at Hammerstein Ballroom
It’s been a while for me, but it’s a welcome thought to go and see an incredible funk metal fusion band and surely amongst my favorite, is Primus. On Friday October 19th, at Hammerstein Ballroom, Primus brings in their latest tour, a psychedelic 3D experience for their newest album Grenn Naugahyde. The Album Green Naugahyde was produced and engineered by Les in his personal studio, Rancho Relaxo, in Northern CA and is said to be “reminiscent of Frizzle Fry”, by Les.
I’m looking forward to seeing Primus play some of their classics like Pudding time, Mr. Knowitall from Frizzle Fry and Tommy the Cat, Jerry was a race car driver, Fish on, Sgt. Baker from Sailing the Seas of Cheese, My name is Mud from Pork Soda to name a few.
Performing with Guitarist Larry LaLonde and Drummer Jay Lane from Sausage, Les Claypool brings his unique style of Bass, creative oddities and groove that can only be Primus. Don’t miss this 3D event, they’ll be performing 2 sets and will be enhanced with Quad Surround Sound.
