Buffalo AirStation WiFi Router, 1.3 gigabits per second. The Buffalo AirStation is a just-released, newest, latest, greatest WiFi router on store shelves as we speak! The new AirStation WiFi Router utilizes the brand spanky new 802.11ac spec which can run up to 1.3 gigabits per second leaving the paulty 300 megabits we currently get with 802.11 variety, in the dust. One catch, you have to have the equal compatible component on both sides to take advantage of the increased bandwidth. Till then, it’s all about future-proofing. Typically we would recommend you not buy a first generation anything and mileage will vary as with any device, but at $180, this won’t break the bank and give you some forward compatibility for a change.
