It's one thing to squeeze into slim-fitting suits, skin-tight jeans, and pants so low your pubic hair needs product, but quite another to breech the long (and rightfully) forbidden ban on mesh shirts. This Spring, Prada is sacrilegiously predicting the end of our mesh apprehension, putting forth a number of vests that utilize the risque fabric. The results have more than a few holes in them, but if layered properly they can add an interesting touch of texture without contributing to overheating (the utilitarian benefit of mesh). While some contend that netting will never belong on anything other than football jerseys and tennis courts, there may be a way to bring the breezy fabric into the summer fold. (A word of warning – these pieces are meant to be worn over something – a mesh shirt alone still belongs to the world of 70's porn, and not even Prada is going to change that.)
