Mini will offer the 2012 Mini Cooper Coupe in three different models. The Cooper S Coupe, The John Cooper Works Coupe and the Base Cooper Coupe. All three models come with a 1.6 liter engine as well as a 6 speed manual transmission. The car can go from 0-60 in 8.3 seconds and also has a top speed of a cute 127 mph. Its mileage is around 5.4 liters per 100 kilometers the official US EPA standards of this are not yet available.
Mini is most definitely not a car that you’ll find in a site that has reviews about sports cars in particular, but there’s no doubt about the fact that everyone enjoys their small compact size and how fun they’re at just driving them around. So for all you Mini fans out there, we present to you the latest addition, the 2012 Mini Cooper Coupe.
The 2012 Mini Cooper Coupe is the first to be built with a three box design concept. This in other words means that the roof, wraparound glass and body are three parts that are built along the same horizontal plane. The front of the car looks stubbornly aggressive, like a feisty bulldog only because the chin spoiler flows into the large fenders. The bubbled up roof along with its posterior is where the avid Mini lover can easily distinguish between the Coupe and the Standard Cooper.
The car is available at a nifty 22,000 dollars and this is just the base model. Specific upgrades will cost extra.
