Samsung Galaxy S2 Review

Samsung Galaxy S2

We all know that as far as value for money is concerned, Samsung has managed to deliver quality products from Smartphones and Camcorders to LED TV’s and Laptops. It always tried to give its customers quality products and well, this time they have successfully succeeded yet again.

Samsung’s new device, The Galaxy S2 comes loaded with a large number of features and is considered, as of now, one of the thinnest mobile phones at dimensions of 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5 mm.

It weighs in at a light 116 grams. This is only because it is made entirely of plastic excluding the Gorilla glass that the screen comes with and the chrome edging which is metallic. Although the phone has a massive 4.3 inch screen display, it somehow still doesn’t feel very big in the hands. The Smartphone runs on Gingerbread which is one of the latest in operating systems which allows the S2 to work effectively and is charged with a 1GHz processor which is ideal for this smartphone given the number of applications that it has.

In spite of it’s wide varied features which include an AMOLED capacitive touch screen, a Swype input method, an accelerometer and proximity sensors, the phone also has various connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, 3G, GPRS and EDGE. In addition to this it also has a separate application for social sites like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc. which is not so much of a big deal right now.

However it still comes with an 8 mega pixel camera. The phone still has not been priced as yet, but I might get one for myself because for my money’s worth, I always seem to like Samsung devices, although I might have to wait and test this out for myself once it’s in shelves.
