Barney Stinson was the epitome of bachelors. You didn’t have to be a fan of “How I Met Your Mother” to know who Barney was, he was and still is that popular, even years after the show’s finale. If you would ask any bachelor to pick a bachelor pad they could have as their own, a lot of them would pick Barney’s “fortress.” It consists of pretty much everything a bachelor would want or need to live a “legendary” life.

Barney loved nothing more than his suits. He would go on and on about his suits and ties. You need to make sure that your wardrobe is in top shape at all times for which you need a proper walk-in closet. Your shoes need to be organized in shelves, your suits and shirts hung on a rail, ties folded properly and displayed on shelves, and so on. Your wardrobe is only as good as you keep it and you know Barney emphasized on a well-kept stylish wardrobe. While Barney himself didn’t have an AI assistant per say, we are sure if the show was on air today Barney would surely have an AI assistant. Amazon’s Alexa or Google Home are wonderful choices as an assistant around the bachelor pad to help you with basic things around the pad. They don’t stop there, they can keep reminders for you and do multiple other tasks that make your life much easier.

One of the things that most stood out about Barney’s bachelor pad beside his closet was how he cherished comfort in terms of his seating and number 4 on our list, his bed. You want to make sure you get the most comfortable of seats for your lounge, making the whole lounging experience much more relaxing.
Comfort isn’t the only thing you need in the seats, they need to be stylish also. So choose mancave chairs that will not only provide you with comfort, but will also look amazing and have some bachelor-approved accessories and addons.

We all know how much time Barney spent in his bed. He emphasized that in a bachelor pad, you need a bed that is fit for a king and one that can easily fit you and your significant other or in Barney’s case significant others. Barney like most bachelors enjoyed his share of drinks. He even had a small bar area in his own bachelor pad where he could make his own drinks. Chances are as a bachelor you will have your friends over often or may just need some time to yourself with a nice cold drink. Store all your favorite drinks in your own bar, which adds a bit of class to your bachelor pad.

Nothing adds class to a bachelor pad like a rug. In fact, you should have more than one rug in your pad, Barney sure did. The best place to keep the rug would be in the lounge and in your bedroom. When selecting your rug, you want to make sure that the fiber is soft and you select a color that goes well with the colors in the room.
