Just when women thought their man wasn’t thinking about them, think again. Men just don’t spend their time thinking about sports, beer and sex, they actually think about their lady too.
Pinstripe Magazine checked in with guys ages 21 to 40 and here is what they all had to say.
1. We actually enjoy going shopping with you…
If you let us pick out an outfit, didn’t take so long making decisions on what dress to buy and also tried on an outfit for us, usually something sexy then we would go shopping with you more often. Of course we would need to stop and get a beer in between.
2. Confidence is sexier than your body…
We already love your body and are with you because of that but when you are confident, not jealous and not questioning your relationship, it’s even more of a turn on! However, throw some sexy lingerie in the mix and you got us hooked for life.
3. Let us think we are the funniest man alive…
Nothing is healthier than a relationship that laughs a lot and of course we men want to be the ones making you laugh all the time. So never laugh harder at another man’s joke in front of your man unless it’s your father or we are at a comedy club.
4. Our time flies faster than women…
Yes we know women are smarter, more organized and sometimes faster at some things, however our time flies faster than women especially when we are spending more time thinking, reading, organizing our thoughts or even working. There is a difference between man time and woman time. Einstein tried to explain this with his theory of relativity and we think it was all about trying to get along with his wife. So, the next time a guy doesn’t call or text you right away, takes a week to answer your text or e-mail, hasn’t taken you out on a date in 6 months, has not made you feel wanted or said I love you in a year just remember that it doesn’t mean he doesn’t care. It just means that times passes differently for men.
5. We care about having a connection and not just looks…
We love it when a woman is down to earth and we share a connection. We just don’t care about your looks or physical appearance; it’s all about being yourself and the connection. Of course we will never mind you dressing up in a Britney Spears outfit from her video Oops I’ve did it again.
6. We really mean well…
As guys, we are always trying to do or say things with the best of intentions, but it always seems to backfire. We really do mean well so give us the benefit of the doubt once in a while, especially if we are having a discussion and we are saying things that make no sense. Have a little patience with us.
7. Drop hints on things you wish to do…
When it comes to making plans for the weekend, taking vacations or going to dinner we men are as clueless as a 5 year old. The pressure of planning the right adventure can drive a man to tears. So unless you drop hints or just simply tell us where you want to go or what you want to do for the weekend, we will just sit at home drinking our beer in front of the TV. Like when you tell us you like sports then we will go watch them together at a sports bar!
8. Don’t try so hard…
Even though we appreciate you spending hours getting all beautified it is not that necessary. Superficial beauty catches our attention but natural beauty is what we really want. Don’t spend hours putting on make-up if we are only going grocery shopping.
9. We love doing things for you…
We don’t mind taking out the garbage, doing the dishes sometimes or even cooking. However, just make sure to ask nicely of course after the game and promising us a night of pleasure. If we knew we would be getting rewarded then we would make our hands your dishwasher for a week, but remember to ask nicely. So I guess we are dogs and love to get rewarded when we do nice things.
10. Wish women were more creative with gifts…
Just because we wear a tie to work or talk about movies doesn’t mean we want a DVD or tie as our Christmas gift. We would love it if we got a week’s worth of stripteases, of course by you unless you take us to a strip club and give us one with another woman. Now that is a creative gift!
